Betty
Grable is one of America's Best Loved and Most Remembered
actresses of the WWII era.
A
request to the U.S. Post Office to immortalize Grable
on a stamp as part of their "Celebrate The Century"
stamps was turned down in April of 1997. However, it is
still possible to suggest Ms. Grable
as a subject for a stamp. With your support we can see
Betty rightfully commemorated on a U.S. Postage Stamp.
This commemoration is not only to recognize her fine acting,
but also as one of the many stars who gave so generously
from their hearts to help entertain troops of the Allied
forces.
She is certainly one of the unforgetable icons of Americana
in this century.

They are created by a group who is lobbying to see Betty
on a U.S. Postage Stamp. There are several files all for
promoting the Grable stamp. Feel free to download them
and distribute them freely. They are large files, so they
may take a couple of minutes to download.
